Chip & Pin Information
After 14 February 2006 you'll need to know your PIN when you use your debit or credit card to pay for goods and services in person, for example in shops or restaurants etc...If you currently know your PIN, great, keep going. If you've lost or forgotten your PIN, then it's important you know it for the 14 February or you may not be able to use your card.
If you do not know your PIN or are unsure of it, please contact your bank for assistance.
If you key in your PIN incorrectly three consecutive times it will be locked. If you later remember it, you can unlock it at an ATM, where you can also change the number, should you wish.
Note: in some cases you may need to contact your bank to unlock and reset your PIN.
